Contestants compete in categories such as talent, swimsuit, evening gown and a question-answer.

About 150 people came to the center of the Fox show in Redlands to watch six women battle it out to be the Crown of Miss IE Zombie Queen during the first such contest for the region.

The idea of Comics creator AJ Herrera, the event brought the contestant with a name like Scarylnn Bloodroe, Haris Pilton and Zombri. Six women teetering snarled and strutted their stuff, all the while covered in make-up which took all day for applying, wearing clothes appropriate to their lifestyles "Undead".

It's good fun camp and seriously high. The crowd was treated to open dance number choreographed for "Thriller," followed by a talent contest that included dancing, comedy and music-all with a little zombie bent. Each contestant was led onto the stage by members of the Zombie killing squad–the name of one comic creations-Herrera's to ensure that no one in the audience were subject to losing their brains.

And it's audience, threatening all evening, who decides on the winner. Shot lined up six, each contest is omitted "dead" by security, leaving only the winner–Zombri–stand with the Crown and sash.

Courtney Stodden without Makeup (photo)

We see what Courtney Stodden looks like as 12 or 13 years old, but what he really looks like now, without a Pound of makeup?

On Wednesday, Courtney made a run of coffee on the heels of the sky, short-shorts and tank tops with midrif showcases his signature clear, plastic bra straps look like usual, but something was missing-make.

Youth clothing bank opened

 The clothing the homeless education and resource team is on the back of the school community on Havermale, 1300 w. Knox Ave., 101 portable. It is open noon-4 pm Monday and Tuesday, or by appointment. Next week, the outfit will also open noon to 4 pm on Tuesday.

Spokane youth Cassiady Lenhert owned only one pair of shoes, some t-shirts, some pairs of pants and sweatshirts. He said he was delighted to learn about the Spokane Public Schools ' new clothes to homeless students made bank.

"This idea is really cool. Many of my friends are very excited about it, "said Lenhert, 15. "This is exactly what I needed because at the beginning of the year, I was like, do you have any shoes?"

Clothing Bank opened Sunday in the portable classrooms at the back of the school community in the County, an alternative school, Havermale which helps keep kids in school, and graduated on time. Items that depend on donations is not from a collection of lost-and-found in the school district.
